Part way through this dream
And I promise not to wake my love
Chasing what may seem

My love can touch the universe
And writes forever across the sky
I linger in her garden
Just to see her gaze and feel her sigh

I might give her painted flowers
But a kiss is for real
She believes them not to fade
And more valuable to steal

I would never leave her thoughts undone
While she addressed my mind to stay
So I think of her and the times she said
What only I have heard her say

My love can touch the universe
